Medication awareness is one of the major  training courses. The healthcare workers are trained on how medication should be stored. They are also trained regarding different types of medication and along with their usage. The knowledge of common side effects that may occur when using a particular medication. These common reactions are taught to the trainees so that they can pass on their knowledge. They are also taught about the obligations and laws regarding administration of medication and their documenting process.

Controlled drugs and oxygen along with drug errors are also included in the curriculum of training. The disposal of medication is also taught so that they understand the process off storage and disposing of a medication if required. On completion of this course the trainees are equipped with the knowledge of implementing policies procedures regulations and they’re also competent in auditing as well.
