Infection control is one of the main trainings which are given to healthcare workers. Within this training the workers are taught  about the legal aspects of infection control and laws concerning this particular topic. The curriculum includes the disease transmission and its signs and symptoms regarding any infection so that they can recognise and identify the infection quickly and treat it.

They are also taught about hand washing using glovs, waste disposal etc., when there is a chance of disease transmission of any infection and they can implement infection control measures if required within the workplace. They can implement infection controls for different types of  infections.
