When dealing with a specific disease it is important to know about its prevalence within the specific country – is this important? Is epilepsy different in different countries. This course allows are healthcare workers to know about the prevalence of epilepsy within the country of their working. They know about the causes, symptoms and signs of epilepsy and how it is diagnosed. The course includes the main types of seizures and what they are The healthcare workers are also made aware of the treatment of epilepsy and the common drugs which are used for the treatment. The side effects of these drugs are also included within the course to allow the healthcare workers to pass on this information towards their patients regarding the side effects of the medication that they will be using during the course of a epilepsy.

This course will ensure that our health care workers are able to implement epilepsy awareness measures within the workplace and understand the importance of causes of epilepsy and staying safe for people with epilepsy. They can share awareness regarding the disease itself and our trainees are always able to train other juniors when they have completed the course.
