COSHH stands for control of substances hazardous to health. it is a set of rules and regulations that are made for the protection of workers. It is put in place with regards to specific substances and materials that may harm the health of workers. This course enables them to understand these substances and materials and their handling of these chemicals and substances. The course enables the workers to understand the concept of consequences when they are dealing with chemicals and substances.

A poor practise while dealing with such chemicals can result in harmful consequences. The workers are enabled to take actions in such events where chemicals and substances are being used in the working environment. There also made aware of any problem that may arise when dealing with such substances in home environment. They are also enabled to control measures or solve problems which may involve such incidents where chemicals and substances are being involved.

The outcome of the course enables the learners to understand the legal obligations which are put in place with regards to chemicals and substances, they also are aware of the consequences when dealing with chemicals and substances. There are made to learn about the safety conditions in working environment When dealing with harmful substances. In case of any accident, they are ready  to response quickly and identify problems and then their solutions.

They are aware of all COSHH measures which are required within the working environment and thus they are also able to train other juniors as well.
